My baby girl is 7 months old & has very broken sleep, but due to itchy eczema, I know she doesn’t get enough sleep, but we do all we can to make her as comfortable as possible xx

My five year old would happily go to sleep at midnight and he’d jump out of bed totally refreshed at 6am if we let him!

  69. My two year old has gone through about a month now of waking up all throughout the night so we are lucky if he got 7 hours sleep – getting even up to 4 times or more- it would explain why he has been bad tempered. It’s been very hard as it’s made me and my husband very tired too and as he shares a room with his 5 year old sister- this has affected her sleep and her school day. Reading this has been very helpful so will put those into practice and try and get more sleep for my toddler and for all of us. The bed would be brilliant to have as they really need a new bed – especially one like this that would give them more room. Liked, shared and retweeted.

  84. If my 4yr old sleeps in his own bed he will only have about 7 hours sleep possibly less as he is restless and is constantly up and down; however when I relent and let him sleep in with me or his brother he will have nearer 10 hours sleep. I think beds have a great deal to do with this problem, winning these bunk beds means I will be able to go to work after having a full nights sleep. My partner will also be able to actually sleep in his own bed too instead of the couch

  563. My eldest needs more sleep than my youngest, but as a teenager she feels she needs less sleep, I would say on average they both get about 7 hours sleep, any less and the eldest is a misery! :)

  565. I have been very lucky with my daughter who sleeps through the night. I am hoping my son on the way will be a good sleeper too. Fingers Crossed

  566. My child gets enough sleep and a GOOD sleep which is more important- I think the knack is for them to be relaxed and happy before they go to sleep and not excitable or stressed, they get a GOOD sleep then. This avoids bad dreams over active thoughts and disturbed sleep. a relaxing bath and gentle stories in a calming enviroment just before sleep is the key

  577. That is a nice bed and a nice mattress, double Decker bed is good for 2 or more kids in the house. It really suits for big families.
