New Competition – Win £100 Amazon Voucher with DC Kids!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve noticed a distinct difference in the way my youngest, Bear (unbelievably, she’s almost 9 now) chooses her entertainment. She occasionally watches TV, but she’s very selective about the shows she watches and she’s far more likely to make regular breaks in the day for catching up with her favourite YouTube channels. And I understand it – I mean, how many of us don’t want an entertainment stream that’s designed around our own particular interests? It’s why we all thrive on Netflix and Amazon Prime and the like: our entertainment absorption has changed dramatically from the day that we had to make sure we were home and in front of the TV by 5.10 so that we didn’t miss Home & Away.
We all just want to watch what WE want to watch – and when we want to watch it.

And short bursts on YouTube are perfect for younger kids; I’ve also used it for years as a way of introducing my kids to the children’s TV of my own youth (frequently to much hilarity on their part). So I keep an eye out for new YouTube channels which they’ll like to subscribe to and dip into when they’re noodling in a quiet 20 minutes. And one of the channels I love is DC Kids – as much superhero action as possible in one place, but it has the feel of the cartoons I grew up on. I love it – and at under 4 minutes an episode, it’s fab to just dip in and out of.

DC Kids latest animated series features all of your favourite DC characters from Batman to Wonder Woman and even Aquaman joining forces against the bad guys.

Plus, for even more fun, there is an extended online experience on the DC Kids website  where kids can play games, download free printable activities, read comic books, and more.

And now for the extra-double-dip fun part; DC Kids is giving away a £100 Amazon Voucher! Closing date is 11/31/2015 at 12:00a.m., and only entries on or before that date will be included. Just use the Rafflecopter box below, and enter away . Good Luck!

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
