I know, it’s ridiculous. almost £30 for a mix tape.
But… there’s a charm to them that just refuses to die. And this is as close as we can get without tracking down a tape player and blank cassettes – and then how much use is that going to be for your loved one when they want to actually listen to it anywhere but their bedroom? Unless you can track down an old cassette Walkman too…
So, in the absence of blank cassettes, a tape player that will connect to my iMac, and a walkman to present with the cassette, this seems like a much better choice!
