One think I positively loathe is the way every child’s toy has been turned into a plastic monstrosity.

So when I find a little gem of old-fashioned style and build quality, I whoop with glee.

Just look at this bucket and spade set! Gloriously bold and bright, with sheet metal construction that will last for years and wooden handles that are just waiting for small hands to love them (no more awkward rubbish plastic bucket handles that just bend and pop off when you fill it with water).

We approve. A lot.
