Sending Flowers Internationally with FloraQueen | Review

I have a very dear friend who lives a very long way away – far too far away for me to pop in for a coffee with when she’s in need. I’ve been promising flowers to her for a very long time. Recently she’s had more than her fair share of rubbishness, and I felt the time had come to actually send her some real life daisies, rather than the cyber picture kind.

So when Floraqueen asked if they could send me a bouquet, I quickly diverted them, and had them send it to her instead.
I’ll admit it – I’d never heard of Floraqueen – but I shall certainly be using them from now on.
The very best thing about Floraqueen is their international delivery – I have many friends in different countries, and sending them flowers can often be a bit hit and miss, even with the power of Google at your finger tips; tracking down a local delivery firm and working out exchange rates, plus the exorbitant cost of shipping…

Floraqueen do all the hard work for you, online ordering a bouquet exactly as you would expect. You just have an enormous drop down list of country options at the checkout!

I chose the bouquet above – titled ‘Precious Purity’ – simply because I wanted to make sure there were daisies in there somewhere! The one shown is the Premium Bouquet, and when it arrived, whilst lovely, the lilies were not open, and it wasn’t nearly so staggeringly full as the image at the top.

But that’s all good – because a week later, and they still look like this;

The precious purity bouquet  includes lilies, carnations, chrysanthemums, gerberas, and greenery, and starts at 36€ (roughly £26) to send a bouquet to Spain (the same bouquet to the UK is twice that price  because they are coming from mainland Europe. I would suggest you use Floraqueen for all your international flowers)

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.

  4. Two years ago, I discovered FloraQueen and used them twice to send flowers to two of my daughters who live in Europe (two different countries). I was very happy with the results, so I had another bouquet sent for arrival Sept. 19. It arrived…and was so ugly that not even the ugly duckling would have had any joy. Not at all what I ordered, a few flowers (not the peachy roses and lilies I ordered), swimming in a huge, clear vase. Terrible! So I tried using their chat communication, which was appalling, too. After I wrote the order number and the issue, requesting a refund or another delivery of the correct item… the chat writes back, asking me to explain in more detail what is wrong! So this is obviously an automated computer with an automated response. I wrote again and finally she responded that she would connect me with a computer expert. But guess what, in order to speak with the expert, one has to sign in to another company that takes care of responses and pay$1 upfront, or $55 a year!!! Are they nuts??? From now on, I’m calling the local florist directly. I’m done with these online floral deliveries!!!
