ScuttleBug! (no, we hadn’t heard of them either)

I knew the Scuttlebug trike was going to be a winner as soon as I took the box out of the postage wrapping. My little one started hopping about with excitement, squealing in that ear-splitting charming toddler way. Thankfully the scuttlebug literally took moments to be up and ready for her to start using (amazing how fast those squeals become tears!).
She scooted backwards a lot.
Then realised it went forward too… and she was off.
The dog wasn’t so keen on it, mind, but I suspect that was because little legs kept using her for a braking mechanism.

The reason I am so very keen on this toddler trike is because we’re always on the move. Dashing from friends to family and home again. The scuttlebug is perfect for taking out and about; it folds pretty flat, and takes up little space when it’s not being used.
It’s also light to carry. Bonus.
But don’t equate light with being flimsy – it’s a sturdy little thing.
Oh, And it’s quiet! It doesn’t creak, moan or make that irritating rattly noise.

My little one gets on it as soon as she sees it. Actually, she also pushes it around, drags it and generally mooches about with it. She was reading (and I use that word very loosely as she’s only 20 months old) a book on it the other day.
She adores it.

I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. It just does what it says on the tin; it’s a sturdy, collapsable trike, and it does what it does well.

The Mookie Scuttlebug is available from Amazon for £21.99 in a whole range of funky designs and colours.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
