Cute fashion accessories I’m craving this summer

The sun’s out – and with it came the sundresses and strappy sandals. I’ve ambitiously looked at my dresses over the last few weeks, but even if I’ve slipped one on I’ve ended up reverting to rolled-up jeans by lunch time.
Just now warm enough.
But today – hooray – the sun is out, and set to stay.

And of course, as soon as the flappy skirts make an appearance, you start needing new pretty things to go with them, right?
Of course!

Here’s a few that have caught my eye recently…

1. Kate Spade Travel Bags

There are a lot of handbags on the market, but I find that a lot of them look a little cheap and like they’ll fall apart after a few uses. Every once in a while I like to treat myself, and this time around you’ll definitely be able to find me walking around the aisles of the nearest Kate Spade shop, or simply lusting after so many of her creations online. I think my favourite so far has to be this seriously cute Expand your Horizons Pelican Francis bag. A short city break will never be the same without him!

2. ChloBo cute bracelets

I love charm bracelets; I haven’t had one in a long time because so many of them are heavy, cumbersome things around your wrist, but this ChloBo elephant bracelet is so sweet and I love the rose gold. It’s a very unique colour compared to a lot of bracelets in more well-known shops, and ChloBo have very high-quality pieces too. I think I’ll pair it with one of their Aventurine bracelets; it’s a very subtle shade of pink which complements the metal well, and blush is such an on-trend colour right now that it would go perfectly with any future additions to my wardrobe.

3. Cath Kidston meets Disney

Have you heard about this? I was so excited when I found out that Cath Kidston would be pairing up with the infamous Disney brand – mainly because it means I get to enjoy Disney just as much as when I was a child, and I can even buy things for Rosalie too! Towards the end of summer this year, there will be dresses in Winnie the Pooh prints as well as children’s lines and even homeware. Then just in time for Christmas, a new line is being released with Minnie and Mickey prints – I can’t wait!

daisy flip flops

4. Summer Flip Flops

You just can’t go wrong with pretty flipflops, right? And look at these Petal flip flops – they have silver straps and daisies on! *swoons happily*

PLus, they’re guilt-free shopping; the Ipanema range uses 100% synthetic materials (so are suitable for vegans) and 99% of any waste from the production process is recycled – meaning there is virtually no waste!

The anatomic sole tis designed for comfort and support (please ladies, don’t skimp on the quality of a flipflop – these won’t break the bank but will look after your feet nicely), the embossed Ipanema beach tile detailing prevents you from slipping, and the super soft and flexible toe strap all mean you don’t need to look any further for the perfect summer sandal!

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
