Center Parcs introduces ‘Teddy Tagging’ service
I LOVE this idea! Center Parcs have begun tackling the big issue of The Lost Teddy in their parks (I think everyone has a tale of a visit or journey when their or their child’s favourite teddy was lost/left behind). It’s a universal problem – during 2012, 700 teddy bears were lost, just at Center Parcs (oh, that’s very sad!). Of these, 320 were returned back home to their families – a good record, but one that the Center Parcs team thinks can be improved in 2013.
Now teddy tags will be available at Center Parcs arrival lodges, for guests to tie to their teddy’s arm to ensure their bears can be easily reunited with the family, should they get lost.
The scheme will be trialled at Center Parcs’ four villages this month.
Center Parcs Lost Property Manager, Janice Abram comments: ” ‘Teddy Tagging’ should ensure we can reunite even more teddy bears with their owners, and give families the confidence to bring even the most treasured toys on holiday.”
We think it’s a genius scheme – so simple, but hopefully really effective.
