A spare fridge? Why yes, yes you do. | Pre-Christmas Shopping
One of my best ideas a few years ago was to pick up a small second fridge to keep in the conservatory. Now I know not everyone has the space for one, but if you do happen to have a small corner, a spare fridge or freezer can be an absolute godsend at certain times of the year – and when you don’t need them, you just turn them off! We have a small larder fridge that is kept full of cold drinks in the summer – mostly...

You can tear it, write on it, use it for crafts or present wrapping, and it is low tack so can be stuck onto most things and peeled off again. This 1.8m tape features a pattern of the words “Merry Christmas” in between 2 small grey hearts. It is cream with a scalloped edge and a grey outer edge. Spotted over at...
Giant Pocket Santa Advent calendar – Pre-Christmas Shopping List
We love him! Cannot imagine anything nicer than getting him out year after year – it’d be like greeting an old friend when he appeared on the 1st December, wouldn’t it? Gorgeous. He stands 6 feet tall – that’s a lot of treats! His squishy beard and silly dangly legs are just too lovely – and the generous pocket size of 9.5cm means there’s room for more than the odd chocolate coin form the advent...
The Spirit of Christmas Fair
The Spirit of Christmas Fair is held every year at the beginning of November at Olympia. As you walk through the doors the citrus smell evocative of Christmas envelops you, thanks to Pollyfields Christmas garlands right at the entrance. With over 600 stalls there is something for everyone and it really is a shopping extravaganza. We went as a group of 4 friends and spent almost 7 hours there! We had a fabulous time. Having been...
