Bestest Christmas Gift Ideas No.2 – Maileg Mice in matchboxes (but they’re all mine, mine, mine)

I just can’t tell you how sweet these Maileg Mice are. Sweet, charming, traditionally quirky and SO pretty you simply have to smile.

Armstrong Ward is one of my favourite take-five-minutes stores, with too many yum things to tell you about here. But I just couldn’t resist these adorable Maileg mice when I spotted them, and felt a Bestest Gift Idea whoosh over me when he arrived in the post.maileg mouse in matchbox

They totally live up to their picture – the mouse is soft and sweet, the bedding is soft and snuggable – and I want to climb into his box with him. Bear adores hers (*whispers* Mummys quite keen on her starting a  collection…ssshhh)

Do be sure to take your time and wander around Armstrong Ward lifestyle while you’re there – I’m very confident you’ll find at least one ‘Oooh’, and one sudden gasping stab of longing within its pages.
