Bestest Christmas Gift Guide – Farmville Hungry Hungry Herd

new hungry hipposFor all the digital gubbins in my children’s life, I find there’s still a place for the old traditional board game. There’s nothing quite like being gathered around the table on a wet Sunday afternoon, yelling and shouting at each other as you desperately try to win (competitive? us? ).

One of our old trusty favourites form when the boys were really small was Hungry Hippos – and it’s still as madly fought over now. So it was fun to see this new twist on the same game – only this time Hasbro have joined forces with on of the most popular online games of recent years – Farmville.

So instead of Hippos, you now have farmyard animals fighting it out for the ‘food’ – but it’s the same noisy, exciting, clattery shouty game to play whether you’re bashing the back end of a hippo or a cow!
(plus there’s the small matter of the code inside the box for Farm Cash in your online game!)

It’s a brilliant store cupboard stand-by for the coming holidays, and every child (and *cough* grown up children too) will love to play. Available from all good toy shops, Hungry Hungry Herd is currently on Amazon for £11.99

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
