I know, we all love a patchwork quilt. But the trouble I find is that they’re either for babies, or too girlie. And my big boys love a cosy rug as much as the next person.

So I jumped a bit when I saw this amazing quilt over on NOTHS – it’s just brilliant. Bright colours, brilliant cosy factor, but will never look ‘too young’ as your boy grows older (or girl of course – I would have LOVED this colour set in my own teen bedroom).

As always with a quilt it’s not cheap, but when you think of the years of use it has in it, I think it’s an investment worth making.

Oh, and there are cushions and pillow cases to match!
