An Irresistable Boy Rag Doll from Moulin Roty – Christmas Gift Guide

boy doll for toddlersIsn’t he just amazing?
I cannot tell you the number of times we get asked on Twitter and Facebook if we know of any good boy dolls – small boys love to play with dolls just as much as girls do, and yet the toy manufactures seem to insist on making them all wear pink.
So we squeaked with joy when we clapped our eyes in this handsome little garçon over at Petalina. Isn’t he just the sweetest? He’s called ‘Le Poupon Garçon‘ (The infant boy), and is a new rag doll by Moulin Roty from their Les Coquettes range.

He’s over 30cm long, so more than big enough for a toddler – but is suitable for a baby from 10 months old to love. His body is completely made from soft fabric and all sewn together, and even his hair is a piece of furry brown fabric sewn into the head. His eyes are brown coloured french knots and the rest of his facial features are painted. Even the delicious  knitted hat is sewn on securely so it can’t be removed and lost.
What makes this little chap so adorable is his chubby and cuddly bottom which allows him to sit on his own, and it has a few pellets in it to add some weight too.

Baby Boy Rag Doll comes in his very own little linen bag with the most beautiful product tag attached.
We love him and want him very badly indeed.

The Moulin Roty Boy Ragdoll was found over on Petalina’s amazing site (which happens to be bursting at the seams with all manner of amazing dolls), and for a shoelace under £33 can be sitting under your tree on Christmas Day.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
