New Competition – win £300 with Wren Living to spend on bedroom furniture

I love to sleep.
I just want to get that out there right now.
Sleeping and napping are never ‘a waste of time’.
If done as a proactive choice they are immensely rewarding and deliciously enjoyable.
I also happen to be a rather skilled napper – renowned for my ability to ‘sleep on a washing line’.
No, it’s true.

Before I started my thyroid medication I could actually nod off whilst waiting at traffic lights. Scary.
In my younger years I also managed an award-winning nap on honeymoon in Kenya; whilst our 4×4 was traversing an incredibly rocky dry riverbed. My head pillowed comfortably against the window, I gently nodded off – whilst the rest of the bone-shaken occupants gazed in bemused amazement jealousy at my quietly snoring self.

So when Wren Living got in touch and asked if we’d like to run a competition  to win £300 of bedroom furniture to help one of our readers #SleepHappy, I jumped at the opportunity.

Talk about a great prize!

Regular readers will know just how rubbish my current bedroom is, so I got a little bit swoony when I visited Wren Living’s bedroom furniture page (if I had this furniture, do you think my bedroom would morph into something this cool and light and dreamy?).
And £300 is a hefty budget to start you off with – if you choose carefully it’s amazing how far you could stretch it…

white wooden double bed

This Elycee Lace Ivory Double Bed is reduced from £705 down to £289 – your £300 prize could go far enough for a brand new bed!

PALERMO-WHITE-GLOSS-TRIPLE-WARDROBE

Or maybe this Palermo White Gloss Triple Wardrobe is what you need – reduced from £445 down to £249, there’s enough left for a mirror too!

So how do you get a chance to win that £300 to spend on your own #SleepHappy? Why by telling us about the strangest place you (or a member of your family) has managed to sleep.

If you’re a blogger, just tell us in a blog post along with your dream nap spot and favourite WrenLiving item (leave the URL in the Rafflecopter magickery below) and you get TEN entries. Please include a footnote to say “this is my entry into the #SleepHappy competition over on LittleStuff” and link it back to here (no-follow is fine).
If you’re not a blogger then fret not – you still get chances to win too, just by telling us about the strangest sleeping place in a comment here instead.
And there’s all the usual extra entry options with tweets and facebooking and the like.

Please enter using the Rafflecopter box below. The closing date for this competition is 5th September 2014 and only entries received on or before that date can be included. The 1st prize winner will be the first randomly selected entry.  Good luck!

I was working as a holiday rep and we had a flight cancelled in the middle of the night so we had to take a coach load of unhappy holiday makers to a local hotel for the night until the next flight could fly them home in the morning. Unfortunately there were not enough room so priority was given to the families with young children and the elderly. Us reps, along with a few others had to nap on a sunbed by the pool. Luckily it was warm throughout the night!

I have slept in a little hut on an uninhabited island off the Norfolk Coast called scolt head island only accessible by boat or wadeable at low tide – people are not allowed on the island other than for research. I was there with three others drilling into the ground to aid a professor with his longshore drift research. it was great fun but very cold and wet. We had only a chemi toilet no electric and no hot water. We collected shellfish and with basic staple foods made delicious meals with a tiny calor gas stove and an open fire. We slept there for a week.
