Oh, isn’t it just a Very Beautiful thing?
I am a HUGE fan of Sophie Allport’s designs, her farmyard animals and pets always win me over with their loveliness.
But this elegant Swallows Mug design just whooshed me with an “oooh!” when I saw it.
The birds! So SO pretty! And calm, and summery, and perfect.
AND it comes in two sizes too – which is a salve to my personal bug bear. My very favourite cat mug is a le-e-etle bit too small for daytime use, I do love a gurt big mug of tea while I’m working. BUt this baby comes in standard and LARGE.
Could it actually get any more perfect?
The standard size has a capacity of 275ml and stands 8.3cm high, the large size has a capacity of 425ml and stands 9cm high. And even thought it’s the very best fine bone china, it is dishwasher and microwave safe (and there’s a whole Swallow Range to add to it, if you’re so inclined!)
