I. Need. These.
Imagine a small pair of giggling feet flashing past you, encased in these. Just… *happy*
Spotted over on Little Stomper, they’re by Livie & Luca so you know they’ll be perfectly designed for small delicate feet. ‘Petal’ in pretty patent leather is Livie & Luca’s all-purpose spring and summer sandal, and we can see them as at home at the park with a pair of shorts as with a swishy dress at a summer wedding.
So twinkle your toes over to the fably Little Stomper, and snap up some yellow Petal shoes for some small feet near you (from a teeny tiny size 3 right up to a gernormous size 12 my 6yr old would love to flash her ankles in) – £38 for all sizes.Read More
It can be so tricky to find boys clothes which are as exciting and fun as the huge girls ranges – so when a lovely Twitterer (thank you @NCooperAbs )pointed me to Wild Things Dresses Etsy shop I was pleased to see some truly beeyootiful dresses – but may have actually squeaked aloud when I saw some of the boys shirts.
Would you just LOOK at this little thing of beauty! Isn’t it brilliantly awesome? Look at those boys and girls zooming around in their 50′s retro rocket ships (also loving the little contrast yoke detail).
If you meander over to Wild Things Dresses, this snappy little Rocket Boy shirt can be on a small person near you (available in ages 6mths-6yrs) for a rocket under £37.Read More
Can’t you just imagine snoozing with Big and Little Nut Brown Hare every night? All wrapped up in their gentle cosy goodness?
Just love love LOVE this set!
The softness of the colours fitting perfectly with the book most parents know off by heart by the time their child is two (come on, join in… “I love you all the way up to my toes!”).
Spotted over on the new-and-most-brilliant Don’t Tell Tales, the 100% cotton (except the trim) cot quilt and bumper set can be yours for £70.Read More
Isn’t this just a peach of a summer dress? It had me at the bunting, if I’m honest, but that sweet little tug boat is adorable, the shape is uber-practical for active girls on the go – and being made by Frugi it is naturally of the highest organic quality to boot.
The Lucy Cornish Blue Dress was spotted over on Bumblebee Kids, comes in a brilliant range of sizes from birth-6yrs, and can be modelled by a small person near you very soon for £26.Read More
Did you see it? The sunshine? Yes, us too! I know, it’s gone again today, but it was here long enough for us to pull out the garden furniture, fire up the barbecue.. and spend another evening by the fire pit wondering if we’re brave enough to cook more than the usual burgers/sausages/chicken on the outdoor grill.
But lookety look what we’ve just found. A fabulous new outdoor pizza oven! It’s ceramic, so the oven can get to the supreme heat needed for genuine pizza ovens ( 350ºC) – way hotter than your conventional ovens.
It can handle a pizza base up to 35cm – and it’s not just a pretty pizza face. Oh no. It can also be used for barbecuing, baking bread and smoking food too – perfect for expanding our garden meal repertoire; Grenadier suggest chicken in a salt crust, giant calzone, or home-made chapatis on top of your amazingly delicious pizza-making abilities.
It will heat in about 30 minutes, using either charcoal or wood, and provide two hours’ cooking time without refuelling. It’s also portable, making it ideal for camping trips, and easy to clean.
The Earthfire ceramic outdoor pizza oven costs £349 plus delivery.Read More
Isn’t it just darling?
I totally ADORE this little set – and it woudl make a fabulous new baby gift, too. Spotted over on the Babes With Babies site, the kimono style makes dressing a breeze, and the matching little hat is reversile (spots or stripes today, sir?). The 100% organic cotton is soft and ethically produced by Organic Kids.
The ‘Diddy Dotty’ organic kimono style romper set is available in sizes 0-12mths from babes with babies, and can be yours for a spot under £30.Read More
Isn’t it pretty?
Spotted over on ‘Not Mass Produced’, my brand new favourite site for “oooh!”-ness.
Hand made in the UK, the vintage look Typewriter Notepad yours for less than a fiver from Not Mass Produced.
I do love a nice sun hat, don’t you? sadly, they’re not always practical for kids on the go. And my daughter (aka Captain Fearless) is definitely a kid on the go. She’s currently sporting a beautiful SIX INCH gash down her thigh from tree climbing two nights ago, when she just went “to play in the garden with the mice, mummy”.
I swear, she’s more trouble than all three boys rolled into one. Anyhoo. Sun hats. She loves her hats too, but a nice wide brim just doesn’t cut it when you’re scaling up the inside of fir trees. Or on a windy beach when she’s in and out of the water, either.
But head scarves – now that’s a match made in heaven.
And this particular one I spotted over at Topsy Toesy is pretty heavenly itself, no? LOVE the lime green paisley, and the side flower details which lifts it head and shoulders above other plain varieties I’ve seen.
The Paisley Girls Headscarf is reduced to £12.95, comes in four different styles and is in age 4-6yrs (one of the pink styles is age 2-4yrs).
He’s soft and fat and his name is Albert and we love him very much. He’s the kind of bear that a small child will love and cherish for the rest of their life.Read More
Love love LOVE!!!
Have you ever seen such a *happy* little rabbit?
Spotted over at the Burp! Boutique, there’s a range of colours you can choose, but each of them has that adorable sing-song bliss face.
If you’re looking for an Easter Bunny as a gift which is a bit less obvious – here’s yer man.
The Anna Chambers Bunny’s are all £18 over at Burp! Boutique – go snaffle one up for yourself this Easter.Read More
Don’t tell me you don’t adore this Steiff Rabbit (named ‘Jolly Dangling’ – which, thinking about it, is probably more of a description on Steiff’s part, but which I rather like just as his name) – because if you do, I simply shan’t belive you. He’s wonderful, and I’d like to give hi a home please.
What a brilliant ‘First Easter gift’ for young babies to small to enjoy some Easter chocolate! My eldest still has the rabbit he received for his first Easter (though I believe I noticed recently that Rabbit appears to have sloped off to daughter’s room when No.1 wasn’t looking) – they make beautiful gifts for children.
And really – they don’t get much more beautiful than old Jolly Dangling, do they? From his super-soft baby plush to his jaunty orange neckerchief, he’s just a thing of happy “Ooooh!”-ness. Look at his face!
On tip of all which he comes with his very own vintage-styled suitcase, and if you nab him from Born Gifted he’s delivered free too. Oh yes. He may be a £33 Jolly Dangling for Easter – but he IS Steiff; and he’ll be loved for every Easter to come, don’t you think?Read More
Oh, how cheery will your little one’s mealtime be with plates like these?! We love the Scandinavian retro look, the primary colours and the sheer happiness they ooze.
Ach, forget the kids, I’d happily eat my dinner of one on these each and every night :-)
Oh, isn’t this just joyous? I want one for MEEEE!
And not ONLY is it super-lovely-cheerful on the outside, look what’s lurking inside:
Purple satin lining! And there’s a gorgeous green ribbon to tie at the back too – oh how I long for a grown up sized version. And my girl would *squeak* if she saw this.
Spotted over at the fabulous boutique store of Dandy Dodo, the Rainbow Coat is only available in two sizes (53cm and 58cm length), and can be hanging on a coat hook near you for £50.Read More
Kids and headphones – essential bits of kit for this 21st Century. Preservers of parents’ sanity as too much music, gaming and movie background noise from their handy little media devices WILL put you the path of madness. Headphones on car journeys are especially essential, trust me.
I’m liking the simplicity with a smidge of cool of these white Skull Candy headphones.
The purple are very cool too. Rock on.Read More
Cold outside but much fun can be had indoors, oh yes indeed.Read More
Another fabulous spot form the Ethical Superstore – just ADORE this birdie cushion. Look at those colours! And the size means it’s a real cushion too – 40cm from beak to tail!

Aren’t these the prettiest? I can just imagine receiving them with a slightly wilty dandelion or stemless daisy head in each! Handcrafted by skilled producers in fair trade conditions in India, I think they’re just irresistable.
And with 49% off at the moment, they’re a total bargain too at under £13 for all five!
The set of five multi bottles with the hessian band were Spotted! in my new go-to place for inspiration, the Ethical Superstore. What a treasure trove of lovelies!Read More

I admit it.
I do not like Uggs.
Uggs = Uggly.
That little boot of purple pretty? Oh, my. I love love love it!
Who knew those people at Ugg were capable of something so delicious?
Price point is silly-high, of course. But if you’re buying a genuine Ugg boot, you should at least get one that is just gorgeous.
Girls Berelo Ugg Boot is available in junior sizes 12 though to 5, and you can lay your hands on your own pair in the UK Ugg Store.
Isn’t it just perfect?
LOVE the retro 50′s design, the Mustang styling – and you just know that it woudl be a whole heap of fun to fly into and slip about on, don’t you? The only down side for me is that there’s no grown up version.
Practical too – solid wood frame, richly padded and covered in strong shiny PVC (easy clean!).
Spotted on Custard and Crumble’s site, the Mini Mustang Chair can be yours for just £96.Read More
