Gorgeous Tall Linen Tunic – Holiday Wardrobe Essentials for Tall Girls

I’ve already written about the fabulous swimsuit that I found over on Long Tall Sally for this summer (which is now sold out… you snooze, you lose ladies…).
But they’ve got two other items which are absolutely, completely, totally, essential for your holiday packing.

First up is The Tall Linen Tunic.

Absolute timeless classic, this tunic became an immediate staple in my wardrobe (from about 2 minutes after it arrived on my doormat). On holiday I literally lived in it, slipping it on first thing in the morning for breakfast on the terrace,  using it as a cover up over my swimsuit around the pool and grabbing it for evening walks in the cooler air. It’s such a flexible, versatile piece and back home it teams as well with jeans on cool grey days as it does with a pair of shorts in the Dordogne for some sight-seeing.

It’s hard, when you’re tall, to find a tunic that actually sits mid-thigh nicely. Being Long Tall Sally, this one sits perfectly. Being linen it’s cool – though it feels more like a fine jersey slub, meaning that creasing in your suitcase is simply not an issue. One thing to note is that it is such a fine fabric that it is a little sheer – it definitely needs a vest top underneath when out in public!

The button sleeve detail is nice (and stops the grubby-cuffs-around-your-knuckles issue by the end of the day), and the V-neck has just enough detail to stop it being plain.

The white Long Sleeve Linen Tunic is £40 direct from LTS, sizes XS to XL.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
