LaplandUK – review pics
We were invited to take the whole family to LaplandUK on Saturday. It’s a 3hr drive each way for us, but it looked so special, we thought it would be worth the drive + 4 children (well, okay, ‘I’ thought it would be, Mr Laura was dubious but not unwilling). The review is coming on the main site later today, but here’s some pics from the visit. Was it worth the money (£405)? Well. Tough question, and depends...
Another Grand Day Out in the Peak District – The Heights of Abraham
The Heights of Abraham is another great family day out in the Peak District. High above the small town of Matlock Bath, you get to it either by walking (long, hard, hideously steep climb) or by cable car (easy, ‘fun’, and only moderately heebie-jeebie-ish). The full review of our day out is coming soon to a LlittleStuff review near you, but in the meantime here’s a few pics of our visit:
Pics from our Grand Day Out at Chatsworth
We took our family holiday in the Peak District this year – and one of our top days out was to Chatsworth. The full review is coming over on LittleStuff very shortly, but here’s a sneak preview of our day in pictures: (NB – the Beyond Limits sculpture exhibition closes on the 1st November, so don’t miss it. Take the children this weekend and make the most of this glorious autumn to spend a day exploring the...
A Grand day out – at Beaulieu
Last week we had a day out at Beaulieu – I thought I was getting into a day of cars (sigh) and not much else, but actually Beaulieu is so much more than the National Motor Museum. Full review, as always, to come on LittleStuff later in the week, but here’s your sneaky preview pics from the day:
Bristol Zoo – preview pics of a Grand Day Out
Full review coming later this week, but here’s the sneak preview pics of our family day out at Bristol Zoo – the first time Ella has been to one (at least since she’s been big enough to notice), so the whole day was a complete adventure for her! The lunchtime ‘meet the animals’ display was excellent – but completely packed. We possibly wouldn’t have elected to stop as it was so busy –...
Chessington review trip
Okay, hands up, I admit it. I was wrong (you might want to read that twice, because you won’t see it often). Having had a conversation with the lovely people at Chessington about how a review may not work because a theme park is really not the best day trip to go on with a toddler, they were really keen to show us just how wrong we were. So yesterday I dragged (kicking and screaming of course, these 6/7/10 year olds are SO...
