Spotted! Sweetest Pomme-Pidou Vintage Rag Doll
I’m not big on dolls, me. I never was. But a traditonal rag doll? Oh. Yes. Please. And this one from the fabulous Pomme-Pidou is just about everything I’d look for. Her face is just blushingly sweet, and her beautiful clothes are fully removable (you can buy new Pomme-Pidou Rag Doll outfits too). Best of all Pomme-Pidou’s ‘Cathy’ is under £20 from Kiddymania (who actually sell a whole range of...
Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension on the Wii. We *LOVE*.
Who doesn’t love Phineas and Ferb, huh? Definitely my favourite cartoon. So I was more than a little bit happy when the Phineas & Ferb 2nd Dimension game landed on my mat for me to review. Well, I say ‘me’. Naturally I’ve not actually been anywhere near it (and not for want of trying). It was immediately STOLEN by the 8 and 10yr old’s – and played. A lot. So, obviously, the review is down to...
Spotted! Perfect Handbag Pouch
Have you caught on to these yet? Such brilliance – already HUGE in the States and Australia. You keep your phone/keys/purse in this – and then just switch it between whichever bag you fancy using. Plop it in your baby bag, and when you want to nip to the shop alone, you can just take this with you. Keep it in a large bag at work, and it’s ready with your essentials when you nip out to check those shoes you saw in the...
Hue Animation Studio? S’good. (Stop Motion Animation Software for Children)
My boys LOVE to create stop-motion clips. They can spend hours setting up scenes and telling stories – No.1 son, while his M.E. was chronic, really delved deep into the stop motion arts, as it’s a fabulous activity for a house-bound 10yr old with limitless enthusiasm and zero energy. He would use his digital camera, and create image after image before loading them into the computer and stringing them together… and...
The New Maileg Baby – Angel Mouse. *squeak*
Oh. Oh oh oh oh OH. Just LOOK who arrived in the post today. It’s no secret that we LOVE the Maileg Mice (warning: that link may cause a lip to wobble). In fact, Christmas would not be Christmas without Father Christmas leaving a new mouse in a matchbox to join the family (currently a large Cuddle Mouse, plus the family of Daddy Mouse, Mummy Mouse, Christmas Mouse, Mimi and Nuffa). The Maileg Mice are just… stunning. Small...
Spotted! Post-It’s for Grumpy Girls
Oh I just LOVE Cupcakes for Clara. The very antithesis of cutesy-sweety-little-girl-ness – she’s so GRUMPY! There’s three styles in the range, you don’t have to have her being bossy at you. You can always opt for the Profoundly Disappointed At Your Ineptitude pad instead… All three are less than £4 each (and there other supremely lovely items too – there will DEFINITELY be a dressing up doll in a...
