Spotted! Fabulous vintage-look Lion & Tiger posters for a child’s bedroom
LOVE these Ingela Arrhenius posters – such a retro look, but SO darn cute! My fave is the seriously brilliant Lion with his massive hairdo, but the tiger comes a close second… Wouldn’t they look great on the wall together? The prints come unframed, but are standard sizes, so that shouldn’t pose a problem. Bother are £19 and available from Petit Home (who we love lots).
Spotted! Gorgeously happy Soup Mug from Sarah Heaton
I first saw Sarah Heaton’s ceramics in her NOTHS shop, but soon meandered over to her own web site for a closer look. And instantly fell in love! Is there anything happier on a chilly January day than the perfect mug filled up with your favourite soup? No, I don’t think there is. TOTALLY love this square mug from her Birdware range – you just know it would feel perfect when you wrapped your hands around it. Yes...
Spotted! A Simply Delicious Velvet Quilt (just made for a day like today).

A kingsize velvet throw, hand quilted, and backed with the prettiest of vintage fabrics. On top of which it’s 30% off. Seriously – I want want WANT one… Spotted in Shruti Designs NOTHS shop, the quilts...

I have a really ‘good’ DSLR I was spoiled with a few Christmas’ ago, plus various lenses – but I find I rarely take it out as it’s cumbersome when I just want to play in the woods...
Bestest Christmas gift Guide – Vintage OWL cushions! *hoot!*
Oh. My. Want want want. And not just one either – I need a whole parliament of my own vintage owl cushions. What’s your favourite? Think mine is the Earthy Green Tree’s. I’d call him Horace *nods* Available from Lisa Angel over on NOTHS for £20. Save one for me, yes?
Spotted! Cath Kidston Football Bedding
I don’t know why, but new bed stuff seems to happen around Chrsitmas. Maybe it’s the threat of guests staying over, and maybe it’s the knowledge there’ll be lots of pyjama-wearing going on. Whatever the case, new pj’s are essential, and new dressing gowns and bedding are a frequent purchase in December too. But finding bedding that is acceptable to both parent and child is increasingly difficult. So I...
