Baby Friendly Breaks In These Seriously Gorgeous Cottages

Going away with a young baby can feel like mission impossible. The list of things you need to take is endless and no matter what the size of your boot is, it’s never big enough is it? But – listen up. Because boot space is not a problem for families choosing to stay in one of Premier Cottages’ baby-friendly properties.

Each of the four and five star graded holiday homes in Premier Cottage’s inspirational collection comes complete with all the essential kit that young children need – as well as the luxury trimmings that ensure you enjoy your time away too!

Properties in their baby collection all have cots, highchairs, stair gates, plastic plates and bowls. Plus extras such as sterilisers, baby monitors, baby baths, non-slip bath mats, baby bouncers or Bumbos, as well as night lights, nappy bins, sink steps, potties, trainer loo seats, changing mats, booster seats, and socket covers.  All the equipment comes free of charge, you simply need to let the cottage owner know what you need when you book.

I know. It’s genius.
Some holiday homes even provide a “baby welcome pack” – Moses basket stands, baby walkers, toiletries, nappy bags and wipes. Details of what each baby friendly property has are shown on the individual property’s websites so that guests know exactly what to expect.

Down in glorious Devon is baby friendly Red Doors Farm offering six five star graded cottages. Or maybe you’re looking to get away with friends, or planning a multi generational break (always a genius idea if you get along well – but not so much if one of you really doesn’t get along with the other’s parents, mind. That will NOT magically fix itself under the microcosm of a holiday together)? Premier Cottages has plenty of large houses that are perfect for big parties too.

(as an aside, almost 400 of Premier Cottage’s properties are dog-friendly so there’s no need to leave the family pet at home. Many of these go the extra mile to make sure your dog feels at home with doggy welcome hampers, dog towels, treats and throws; Dog friendly properties can be viewed here.)

Premier Cottages prides itself in offering a holiday rather than just a cottage, and as most of the owners live on site, they are there to help when needed and to provide guests with information on local events, restaurants and attractions.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
