Orange Thins from Charbonnel & Walker

You simply can’t beat some delicious ‘posh chocs’ at Christmas as a filler gift, an emergency stand by or a simply perfect gift for the person-who-wants-nothing, can you?

And you don’t get nicer than Charbonnel & Walker.

Honestly.

Their selection boxes make me happy the minute I lift the box, the gold gilt packaging itself always feels like the chocolate equivalent of a Tiffany box.

So a few things nearly always fall into my shopping lists over Christmas. First up are the orange thins – personally I love the dark chocolate, but my mother in law has a thing for milk chocolate with orange in. And that combination doesn’t get any better than in these Milk Orange Thins, wafer thin discs of the finest Milk Chocolate blended with the taste of fresh oranges (£20).

And if mother in law is getting her orange thins, then father in law has to get a Box Of Delicious too. And I just know that the amazing Maple Brazils will make him Happier than Mr Happy of Happy Street… (13.50)

“These delicious Maple Brazil Nuts have a creamy, nutty texture, and each one is delicately coated in a sugar maple fondant for that perfect savoury sweet balance.”

If you’re looking to spoil someone this year with a some delicious chocolateness, don’t go where you usually do – buy them something extraordinary. Buy them a little something from Charbonnel & Walker.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
