A long long long time ago, I had a baby girl (well, four years ago in January, but it feels like MUCH longer…), and my bestest friend in all the world did buy her a present. An ‘E’. A pink gingham E, no less. I remember the phone call still;

“Hello?”

“Gingham or spots?”

“????” (that’s the baffled flumphing kind of noise I make when I have random stoopid questions thrown at me after 3 hours sleep)

“Gingham or Spots – choose, which?”

“Erm – Gingham?”

“Yes, I thought so too. I’ll give you a ring soon. Bye!”

A few days later, a beeyootiful parcel arrived – and inside it was a pink gingham E. Which was unspeakably pretty & sweet, and immediately loved.

It had pride of place in the cot, now stands in the corner of her bedroom, was the first letter she learned to recognise – and I have a new idea to hang it on the wall when she’s older.

So, I am more than happy to say brilliant Jonnys Sister has decided to join the LittleStuff House. Do please go and meander around the English Country Garden that is her website – she’s not just about the cushioned love letters – it’s personalised cushions, delicious little porcelain letters and bunting too.
