YOU CAN cook tasty food – easy tips to get kids cooking. WIN!

Tomorrow we have a live Twitter Q&A with Helen Burgess (@LittleCooksCo), author of the new “YOU CAN cook tasty food”.

If you’re looking for some half term inspiration, or you have a budding young cook who keeps invading your kitchen, then tomorrow lunchtime we may have just the thing you’re looking for. Helen Burgess is a qualified nutritionist and founder of Little Cooks Co., the award-winning monthly cooking kits which are an amazingly easy, fun and healthy activity for kids. And now she’s written a book to help your child do it for themselves!

Want some ideas of things your child can manage to cook by themselves? Helen’s a font of knowledge, and she has all the tips and know-how you’re looking for to keep them having fun while they cook healthy nutritious food. If your child loves to cook, don’t restrict them to fairy cakes – why not let them loose on a quiche, making their own baked beans or even chicken nuggets? They’re all in the book, broken down into super-easy steps with basic ingredients, easy-to-read instructions, extra tips and space for notes. There are loads of easy, healthy snacks too – prevent the crisp-bag being the first choice all holiday!

If you have ANY questions you’d like to ask, and you’re not on Twitter, or not around tomorrow, then please do go ahead and leave a comment here, using #YouCanCook.

The book’s the ideal kitchen resource to encourage your children into the kitchen, and keen bakers to learn new skills. It’s a genuine how-to book for kids who love to cook and bake; easy to understand and tells them exactly what they need to know step-by-step.

And thanks to Collins, if you take part, there’s the chance for five people to win their own copy of the book in time for half term kitchen fun – regradless of what the weather does!
Five questions, picked at random, will win a copy of the book

Author: Laura

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
