Win a Back To School Book Bundle for 9-10yr olds with Collins

If you’ve not made friends with it yet, then you need to go and introduce yourself to the Collins4Parents website. It’s not only jam-packed with excellent books for every stage of your child’s learning, but they also offer a boat load of useful resources and practical guides to help both you and your resident student.

And right now Collins are offering a 40% discount on selected books for Back to School until 10 September 2017 when you use code BTS17 at www.collins.co.uk/Collins4Parents

It’s day 4 in #BackToSchoolBooks fortnight, and we’ve moved on up to the 9-10yr olds. And we’re starting witha  total beauty – the Collins School Atlas (I think I’ve mentioned a time or two about my love of an Atlas, yes? yes.). But this one is not the picture atlas we’ve been looking at so far this week, designed to capture a small mind.
This is the big sister to that picture atlas – and it means business.
Recently revised and extended, it features 96 pages of clear, easy to read maps, satellite images (where the heck were THEY in my childish imaginings of where the jungles were?), an atlas skills section and hundreds of statistics.

And with that fab Atlas, Collins have bundled another brilliant Fascinating Facts book – this time the science one, which is a fab introduction to some of the greatest feats in science, with fascinating facts about humans, technology, the Earth and energies. And with them there’s the you-never-knew-how-handy-they’d-be language dictionaries; both French and Spanish, in an easy-to-use, colourful dictionary providing the perfect reference for the new curriculum with detailed coverage of vocabulary. I still dip into my old school French dictionary to this day – but I’ve never learned Spanish (I chose Latin over German, and never even had the option to choose Spanish!). And on top of all the book brilliance, Collins decided that by Year 1- you don’t want a pack of felt tips anymore – so they’ve opted for the brilliant rainbow pack of Staedtler Ballpoint pens instead.

So, how to win this brilliant bundle, that’s the question. Easy! Just use the box below to enter – closing date is the 23rd of August, and first name out of the cyber hat wins. The first three options are mandatory, then there’s more chances to win by being super-social and sharey if you fancy it. Once you’ve entered, make sure you go back and enter the earlier days if you missed them – and stick around, we’re here all week ;)

Good Luck!

Back To School with Collins 4 | 9-10yrs

Author: Laura

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
