Win a 2 Night Stay in a Luxury Woodland Shack with One Off Places! | #LittleStuff24

Advent Calendar Door Twenty Four

“Weeeeeeee wish you a Merry Christmas – we wish you a Merry Christmas –

Behind the final door number twenty four of the 2015 #LittleStuff24 is a wonderful treat for one lucky winner – a two night midweek stay in a luxury Woodland Shack thanks to the amazing One Off Places!

Bivouac Shack 1

One Off Places are always our first stop when we start looking for our next adventure – set up in 2007 by the ridiculously-lovely Tabitha Symonds to share her secrets in unique holiday-finding!  You know what it’s like – you look for a holiday property, and those you find are being swamped by the mass market “two bedroom apartments in resorts”,  and thousands of properties which all look the same as the one next door.  What you actually want is.. well, we all want something different. That’s the point.
The team at One Off Places have travelled all over the world and have stayed in hundreds of unique properties – from the simple charming cottage, to a jungle lodge, a rural finca and the odd exquisite beachfront dream house. They actually are the experienced travellers you always wish were holding your hand as you book a new adventure into the unknown.

Low cost airlines and the ability to book each component of your holiday online means you have much more control over your holiday booking now – you don’t have to rely on a travel agent.  And One Off Places don’t focus solely on exclusive or luxury properties either – they genuinely offer a wide range of property types and prices to suit all budgets.
If you are looking for a property with a difference, away from the mass market resorts, then you really should start here – One Off Places will have a property to suit you!

Bivouac Shack 1

Within the sweeping landscape of a 20,000 acre estate in the Yorkshire Dales hide six original, hand-crafted round-wood timber-frame Shacks. Off-grid and totally unique, these snug little hideaways are rustic and luxurious in equal measure. You won?t ever have stayed anywhere like this.

Both lavish and rural, the Shacks cleverly manage to combine a comfortable glamping experience with a refreshingly pastoral feel and admirable sustainable living. Built using the round wood timber framing technique, they have been thoughtfully, carefully and lovingly designed so that they have the maximum impact on their guests with the minimum impact on the environment, almost as if they have grown up from the ground they stand on. Everything from the quirky furnishings to the warming features like wood burning stoves and sheep?s wool insulation make for a cosy, comfortable holiday cabin that you will be longing to get back to after a day out on the Dales. The Shacks are the perfect base from which to explore this stunning corner of the world.

And here at Door No.24 is your chance to win yourself a short break in one. I know – SO jealous!
The prize is a two night midweek stay (self catering) in a Woodland Shack at The Bivouac on the Swinton Park Estate, Yorkshire. Each shack can sleep up to 7 people, and the maximum value of prize is £270.  The prize winner is welcome to upgrade if they choose a stay with a higher value than £270.
Subject to availability, and the stay must be taken by 5th July 2016.

To enter, just answer the first two questions in the widget box below. There are more chances to win by completing the other entry options if you so wish – they’re entirely up to you! The closing date for this competition is 29th January 2015 and only entries received on or before that date can be included. The winner will be the first randomly chosen entry. Good luck!

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
