I love the clever and pretty advent calendars, but there really is something to be said for the simple, old-fashioned doors, isn’t there?
Of all the times of year, Christmas is the season that we all love the traditional – and this Advent Calendar is a real beauty.

Never mind the before-breakfast chocs – all the excitement is in watching the doors gradually open up, revealing a new picture each day, and counting down the days until you get to open the big no.24.

    I have just bought a traditional Advent calendar this year as the chocolate ones have become too commercialised. These traditional ones are much nicer.
