The Perfect Cat Mug

A few weeks ago I spotted the Perfect Cat Mug – properly beautiful little mugs on Jin Designs, they had small black cats on, in the most perfect, sweet, unfussy designs that made me oooh! happily.

I shared it on our facebook wall, as I’m prone to do, and sadly moved on to less exciting things like laundry and how to remove tea stains from the new hall carpet.

A few days went by, and then a parcel arrived. Mr LittleStuff oh-so-casually declared “oh, this is for you…”

And there, nestled in its own tissue paper, was my very own Jin Designs Little Black Cat mug.

And oh this thing is a beauty.

It has become my evening mug of choice (I’m not the only one who has different mugs for different drinks at different times, right?) – it’s fine bone china so it feels wonderful to drink from, and that little black cat makes me smile every time I see him in the cupboard. It’s just one of those mugs that’s feels right when it’s steaming gently in your hand.

There’s only one teeny tiny thing that lets it down – the fact that it doesn’t come complete with the owner of those magnificent grey paws it is pictured with…

The Sitting Cat Collection includes a Tea Towel and Bag (and has a partner in crime, the sleeping cat). A simple, beautiful creation by Jin Designs which has been hand-decorated to the highest quality in Stoke on Trent, UK.

The Cat Mugs are £12 each, and you can get a pair of sititng and sleeping cat mugs for £22. Which is just a little bit more fabulousness for your morning tea…

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
