Students! Cheap travel with a Stagecoach unirider ticket!

Do you own a student who’s so intimately acquainted with the local bus routes he could reel off all the stops between home and College, or to his mates house? If so, you might want to think about a Stagecoach unirider ticket.

With Stagecoach’s student bus pass, you can use it in your chosen ticket zone at anytime and anywhere – and some areas have unirider tickets for specific universities and/or colleges.

Why you’ll love your unirider ticket

With a unirider ticket, you can:

  • travel anytime, anywhere on Stagecoach buses
  • travel on other Stagecoach services where available*
  • no more worry about whether you still have the bus fare home at the end of the night
  • it’s flexible – buy a ticket for the whole academic year, or split the cost across terms

And before you ask, the zones are pretty big – a unirider ticket for Salisbury, for example, allows free travel within West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Brighton; they just have to show their card each time they want to use their Unirider for a journey. This particular one is specific to Alton college, and the price is £180 for the summer term. BUt a much narrower zone of Manchester ( which incovers unlimited travel on Stagecoach and Magic buses in Greater Manchester, valid in areas of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire on services 202, 236, 237, 312, 358, 360, 635, 810) is just £65 for the summer term.

So click to check the Stagecoach site and see how much it might save you to buy a unirider Student Bus Pass for the term ahead!

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
