SAMSUNG OPENS PREMIUM HOME EXPERIENCE SHOWCASE DESIGNED BY KELLY HOPPEN MBE IN HARRODS
Samsung has revealed its vision of ‘the perfect living environment’, where innovative technology meets cutting-edge design. Working with world famous interior designer, Kelly Hoppen MBE, Samsung has created the Samsung Home Innovation living space; a premium showcase of Samsung’s latest home appliances, on display exclusively in Harrods.
The products combine intelligent functionality and beautiful design; Samsung believes the clever mix of form and function can not only complement our homes, but also make our lives easier through a range of clever new features. The Samsung Home Innovation space is an inspiration in home design and showcases products unique to Harrods, including:
- Intelligent ecobubble™ washing machines that can be controlled by your smart phone – with the smart, WiFi enabled washer – you will never again have to worry about the washing sitting in the drum all day, as you can start the washing cycle on you way home from the office via you smartphone.
- Flexible fridges that are built for our lives today and can be arranged to meet the needs of many an occasion. Need more space for drinks? Bigger spaces for party platters? Or simply more freezer room for a growing family? The Samsung T9000 lets you convert spaces from fridges to freezers at the simple touch of a button. And it’s not just flexible space it offers – as you would expect, it is beautiful too. A fluid design where every detail from the gorgeous recessed handles to the smooth brushed finish is carefully considered. This fridge will make you the envy of all your friends.
- Clever vacuum cleaners designed for modern homes with Motion Sync Design™ that make movement effortless and smooth. These vacuums have special sensors that mean they can tell how clean your home is and which areas need cleaning the most. They even use UV light to neutralise allergens that can’t be seen by the naked eye – so your home will never be cleaner.
- NEO cooking series gives you a full range of co-ordinating Neo appliances, including single ovens, compact ovens, cook top, hood and warming drawers all with a simple, elegant design. The oven range also features Samsung’s unique Dual Cook™ technology, meaning you can cook two different things at two different temperatures at once. The Samsung Home Innovation is located on the second floor at Harrods in Knightsbridge. This new premium living experience is open to members of the public now and will host a number of consumer events over the coming months.
