Poco Nido Baby Shoes from Monkey McCoy – by @mummyconstant

Sadly, it’s been quite a while since there was a pair of baby feet pattering around these floors, so when Monkey McCoy asked us if we’d like to review some delicious baby shoes, we had to recruit some extra assistance. Thanks to Sonia over at Mummy Constant who took on the challenge – and biggest thanks to Isla for letting us borrow her feet to test them on…

Monkey McCoy sent Isla out some beautiful Poco Nido baby shoes to review. Monkey McCoy is a great website that stocks super cool clothing for kids and babies. It has been running since 2005, when Kerrie McCoy first opened the online store because she could never find a good store to find something a bit different for her children. So voila, Monkey McCoy was created. I am a huge fan of those “something different” items and I love trying cool and funky clothes on them. I have always been a fan of Poco Nido too, so I was very excited about getting Isla in these lovely and very funky baby shoes. IMG_1786-715x536

I love the Monkey McCoy description of the shoes, it really does sum them up perfectly “Gorgeous Pink Birds baby shoes are hand printed with water based ink and then tested at an international lab to double check there are no nasties contained. Made from 100% cotton twill, lined in cotton jersey and the sole is suede. They are suitable for non-walking AND walking babies. Perfectly packaged in our famous cardboard tube box.”

They are not sold as a washable product, so you do not get washing instructions with them – but I scrub them with a little fairy liquid and a sponge: they came up nice and clean and haven’t ruined them. These shoes are perfect for pre-walkers and little walkers, Isla has been wearing them both before and after and they seem really comfy, they do not stop her walking and we especially love wearing them around the house. I think they look incredibly cute on her little feet… monkey mccoy baby shoes

The little shoes came in a beautiful tube package, if like me you love a nicely packaged parcel, then you will love these too. They come in a little tube, with branded tissue paper, it looked really nice and that extra effort was made for the product – I guess it shows Poco Nido care about their products.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
