New Competition – ‘The Forever Whale’ & Other Books by Sarah Lean to Win!

The Forever Whale by Sarah Lean

The bestselling author of A Dog Called Homeless, Sarah Lean has released yet another touching and thoughtful book. The Forever Whale tells the story of Hannah who, like many young girls, adores her Grandad. Sadly her Grandad has Alzheimer’s and he’s always forgetting things. He keeps trying to tell Hannah a story about a whale, and it seems really important, but it’s all jumbled up. Then Grandad has a stroke and he can’t remember anything, not even Hannah. It’s like he’s lost inside himself. Determined to get Grandad back, Hannah sets out to make a film that will remind him of his life – and in doing so starts to piece together and extraordinary story about a whale that connects Grandad’s childhood with her own.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
