Gorgeous Autumn Boho Style for Tall Girls

yes, yes, the husband caught me taking five in the garden. I am allowed a coffee break y’know… (and it’s a good job he did, because look below to see what happened when I actually tried posing for a shot in this outfit…)

Last week we were talking tall girl jeans – and how Long Tall Sally just gets it right. But the second outfit I tried is possibly my favourite ever-in-the-history-of-ever.
Cords.
Who doesn’t love a pair of winter cords?
And when those cords are as soft as velvet, and in a deliciously beet red-purple colour? WIN.
You slide into these Cord Bootcut Trousers from LTS, and feel like your legs are being hugged into groovy autumn goodness.
Perfect fit (waist is high! Yes!), perfect bootcut shape, perfect length to sit neatly on winter boots…

Yes, this is what happens when you try and take a nice shot while Blue is mooching around… She does love to be helpful.

I love.
Frankly, it’s a trial when I have to put them in the wash – I clearly need another few pairs (and maybe I’ll try the camel-coloured option too…)

I’ve got them teamed with the Crochet Insert Smock Tunic, which is a plain and simple softest-jersey smock top – with this amazingly detailed insert in the sleeves which lifts it to gorgeousness.

autumn-boho-tall-outfit“Cotton rich stretch bootcut cord with jeans styling. We added new rose gold trims to Beet for a chic finish.”
The Cord Bootcut Jeans are £50, and come in sizes 10-22 (and leg lengths 34″, 36″ & 38″).

“Pretty smock with deep crochet insert on blouson sleeve, pintucks at front and metallic thread tassles from keyhole neckline.”
The Crochet Insert Smock is £45, and comes in sizes XS to XL. Downsize is you can – I should have been in L, but the M fits me beautifully.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
