Go With The Throw

Before Christmas we were working with Laura Ashley, who challenged some bloggers to use their Shaldon Stripe or Tartan Cranberry throws in a non-conventional way.

It’s just the thing when your sidekick has a cooler outfit than you, and you’re suddenly in desperate need of a superhero cape…

My 6yr old was pretty creative with it when I wasn’t looking, but actually the very best use we found for the throw was the kind that involved fires, movies and sofas. Lovely.

Laura Ashley have now posted what everyone else did  in their Go With the Throw Challenge – I’m pleased to say I wasn’t the only flake who thought that for all the cleverness, the best use was for snuggling. However I am secretly jealous of the clever tablecloth idea, and Cosy Home Blog’s idea of making a throw into a pair of curtains was nothing short of genius.

Author: Laura

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
