Free West End Theatre Tickets for children this August! #KidsWeek

More than 30 top shows and thousands of tickets still available across London’s Theatreland

Thousands of cut price family theatre tickets are still available to more than 30 of London’s top West End shows in the upcoming ‘Kids Week’ promotion which runs throughout August.

This London theatre initiative, run by the Society of London Theatres, features free tickets for children to shows; including the toddler friendly What the Ladybird Heard and the musical blockbuster Thriller Live at the Lyric Theatre. The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre; plus perfect for children aged 11 years and over – the new slapstick sensation The Comedy about a Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre.

These theatres are all in the Heart of London area, which takes in Leicester Square, Piccadilly and St James and is the home of London entertainment, with a great choice of restaurants, shops and attractions for families.

During Kids Week, which runs from 1-31 August, a child aged 16 or under can go free to any participating show when accompanied by an adult paying full price (adults can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price with no booking, postage or transaction fees incurred). Kids Week offers are subject to availability for specific performances.

Kids Week also has a fantastic range of free activities and events which includes everything from storytelling and backstage tours to choreography and stage combat workshops. Additionally, Kids Week ticket holders will be able to take advantage of a number of Kids Go Free deals on dining, tours and hotels.  Full details and live availability for the shows can be found at KidsWeek.co.uk

The aim of Kids Week, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, is to encourage young people and their families to experience some live theatre – and over the years it has successfully reached over 1.2 million children and families.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
