Review: Essential summer cover up from @_Sunuva

UV summer cover up for girls

Not just for the beach y’know…

A while ago we were asked by Sunuva to review this gorgeous Kaftan.

Despite the lack of sunshine, it’s still seen pretty constant use – it’s so pretty, and so comfortable to wear, that it immediately became a firm favourite. As you can see, it looks just as good with shorts and wellies as it would over swimwear on the beach. Because that’s what it’s designed for – fully UV protective light cotton beach cover up.

It’s pretty & perfect for any sunny day, even wihtout a beach or pool handy

It’s so soft and loose-fitting that the girl simply prefers it to any other item in her wardrobe – and I can therefore also tell you it washes really well, despite having suspiciously fragile-looking bells on the ends of the ties. Those bells deceive you – they’re not in least fragile, and still continue to jingle pleasingly after endless washes.

And this is what you get when you ask Pink to ‘stand nicely so I can photograph your top’ *eyeroll*

Long enough to wear as a dress, perfect for smartening up for lunch or for covering up when the sun gets too hot. At £45 it’s not the cheapest top you’ll find, but it will instantly be a summer staple, and you’ll wonder what you did without it .
The Girls Drop Waist Kaftan is available in ages 1-12yrs direct from Sunuva here (and there’s a grown up version too…)

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
