Blog Love

The new Blog Love is proving really popular – we are very aware that an awful lot of our readers are not actually bloggers, and as such not only don’t get the whole linky/blog hop thing, but also really could do with a bit of an introduction into the world of blogging.

So instead we’re just asking bloggers  to simply leave us a comment with a link to a noteworthy post someone else has written. Every Thursday we’ll do a round up, and spread a little Blog Love around. So yesterday we did a call out, here’s the mad array of responses…

First off the mark was our very own Goddess Kelly with a wonderful new find for me – Whoopee has just been added to my own reader, and I bet after you’ve read the Tweed Run Highlights (Ewan McGregor!!) she’ll be in yours too.

Next the lovely Tim from Bringing Up Charlie pointed us to Deer Baby, and her thoughtfully intelligent and challenging post on Lifecycles

Domestic Goddesque decided a little self-pimping was in order… I clicked, I read, I agreed, and so here it is. Her heart-aching thoughts to her husband on If Tomorrow Never Comes.

Heather from Note From Lapland also pointed us to herself, and a remarkable contest on her blog this week. Not just content with giving away a signed copy of The Darkest Corner, you also get to ask the author a question too. *flaps hands in shoo-ing manner* Go! Ask!

Finally, Cathy from the Nurture Store has pointed us her own way to a free eBook for you to download, jam packed with ideas for crafts and activities during the holidays. So go download for some inspiration – you shall gain shiny Mumma points of you do at least one activity with your small people.

Oh, and Goddess Emily snuck in a latecomer which was too important to miss – Plan B’s post marking Parkinson’s Awareness week with a rather extraordinary and deeply personal story about her father.
