Regular readers will know that we’re a family of huge DM fans – I was a big fan back in the 80’s, and never ever grew out of it. And now my daughter shares my passion – which is frankly a Good Thing for her feet. Not only are DM’s tough enough to stand up to her tree-climbing-always-running ways, but they’re soft and comfortable enough to wear immediately (no breaking-in needed on these modern soft leather babies). AND they’ve even thought fo the whole laces issues, and added a simple zip on the inside – so an 8yr old can get them on and off with ease, but they still look like ‘proper’ DM’s.

This year, Dr. Martens have partnered with Cartoon Network for a range of boots for both adults and children inspired by Adventure Time, the top rating and award winning animation series.

In case you haven’t seen it yet (and it’s loved by children and adults alike), Adventure Time is the funny modern fable that follows the explorations of best friends Finn the human and Jake the shape shifting dog as they embark on big adventures through the mythical Land of Ooo. Eclectic and independently minded – just like Dr. Martens!

And really – is there any better footwear for Halloween this year than these deliriously brilliant Marceline boots? Inspired by a 1000-year-old guitar-playing gothic vampire of the same name, it has different vampire faces on the left and right foot. Two pairs of eyelets are in blood red, to mimic a vampire’s bite. The heel tag is also blood red and the entire lining and tongue are in seasonal black fur.

A furry tongue, vampire faces, blood red eyelets… We *LOVE*.

Dr Marten’s Marceline Kids Boot is available direct from the Dr Martens site for £65 for the Infant Marceline B (infant sizes 5-9), and £75 for the Junior Marceline D (sizes 10-3).

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
