Well, after having 3 boys, I consider myself a bit of an expert on the small blue variety. But for many years I have searched for a really good toy boat for them. What IS it about boys and water???

But I'm glad to say my search is over - here it is. Thanks to the lovely people at Myriad Onlilne, all the toy boat your small man will need.

Simple in design, real enough to be exciting, classic enough to be proud to take anywhere.

I can personally vouch for these - check our blog to see images of my boys sailing these down fast rivers in Wales in September.

We named ours (using the time honoured black marker pen method) before they hit the high..erm...river, but even in the bath these would be a hit.

And at just £5.90, how can you go wrong? They're solid wood, so even stand up to Toby's manhandling, the sails are proper cotton, and they're made in Germany by a traditional model ship maker.

Gorgeous.
