Beep Beep! Here I come! The 3 in 1 car walker really is great fun. It arrived in a rather large box and I couldn’t wait to put it together and let Olivia play cars while Daddy watched the Grand Prix!! It took less than 15 minutes to fully assemble and was slightly larger than I anticipated due to the bumper around the bottom being quite bulky. Oh well - it looked fun and Olivia’s face was full of excitement and her legs were flapping as I lifted her in for her first test drive. She instantly found the buttons on the steering wheel which made a noise - such a surprised face! - and then took her attention to the spinning flower mirror. The gadgets and toys around the edge are great and even when Olivia isn’t in the walker she still plays with them and loves to catch her reflection in the wheels, which she finds highly amusing!! The interactive steering wheel has a variety of annoying sounds, as expected, and the horn is brilliant.

However, actually moving around in the walker is proving to be rather difficult. Olivia is just under a year and believe me has a good pair of rugby thighs; she can whizz about in a smaller lightweight walker, but can hardly budge this one. It is very heavy, so little ones legs need to be really strong to shift it. When it is in ‘walk’ mode, though, and being pushed along with the seat tucked away then it is much easier to manoeuvre.

Bounce mode is where it comes into it’s own! The kick plate with the flashing lights and noises are activated and it’s a whole different story. It’s time for giggles galore, and someone who really thinks they are very clever making it bounce and make lots of noise all at the same time.

I think as a sit down walker it is a bit too tough for the little ones to scoot about; but it is handy to have as a seat and use the tray (under the car bonnet) for some snacks.

Overall I think it’s a great idea to have so many uses out of one product - it’s a fab product (slightly let down by the bulkiness) that does give a lot of entertainment and is very clever the way it converts between different modes with such little effort. It really is a good fun product which I think can grow with your little ones over a long period of time and last longer than the usual 6 months.
