Noukie BearWhat WE Say...Well now, here's a story (with a very happy ending). For a while, I've had my eye on a Lola for Ella. The lovely lovely people at The Wee Gooseberry thought I might like to see one for a review and also kindly offered Ben a Noukie Bear at the same time (a long story involving Ben's bedtime bear taking a swim in the bath and a slightly frantic drying incident with a too-hot hairdryer meant Ben needed a replacement bear). As a result of an address mix-up, both Lola and Noukie came to me - 'twas a hardship, I tell you. Lola was everything I imagined her to be; gorgeous, girly, SO soft and lovable... but when I finally stopped cuddling her myself Ella was nowhere to be seen. She'd made off with Ben's Noukie! And never are they to be parted. Noukie is not a big round solid bear - in fact, he's a little on the saggy empty side. But that's not a bad thing. No no no. What it means is that he's the perfect shape for snuggling in to. He's not big and bulky (if I'm honest, Lola is still a little big for Ella, though she looks gorgeous in the cot and I am convinced her day will come). Quite apart from the adorability factor of the Noukie range, they are no slouches in the pracitical stakes either. No expensive-so-don't-play-with-it factor here. Oh no. They're fully machine washable, are made using baby-safe dyes and they're double stitched for strength and safety. Ella won't sleep without her face being squooshed right up into Noukies tummy and the soft rattle inside him makes her very happy as she shakes him gently in the mornings. We can't tell you how popular you'll be if any small person who loves to cuddle soft things receives one of these for Christmas. Website: www.noukies.com |
