Content & Calm Cot Canopy - What WE Say...

The Content & Calm cot canopy is absolutely great!

We first tried this out when we went to visit my Mum over Christmas and used it with our travel cot. It comes inside a really cool green carry / storage bag. We took it out, had a look at the instructions and put it up. It's really easy and adjustable.

It worked lovely at Mum's house as my daughter shared a room so the light had to be put on a couple of times and she never woke up. Her room back at home has a window above her door that lets light in and also when it gets light outside the sunlight does show around the sides of the curtains which makes her wake up earlier than she should...so needless to say when we got home we put the canopy on her cot!

I like the fact that you have large opening 'windows' all the around so it doesn't matter how you position your cot, it is always easy to get to your baby. You can also close up the outer panel so its pitch dark. You also have the option of just the the mesh inside panel to give a tiny bit of light and to keep bugs out.

Thanks to the cot canopy my daughter now sleeps very well and even goes to sleep by herself at 7 months. She has no distractions apart from her cot mobile to fall asleep to. Something I didn't experience until much later with my son!!!

I am going on holiday soon to South Africa and I am much more relaxed about it because my daughter will have the cot canopy as a consistent thing for her to fall asleep in. It will feel more like her own bed. It will also keep the mosquitos out when we have to open windows because of the heat. Most importantly, we won't be waking her up with the light when we come into the room that we will be sharing! It makes the idea of travelling with my baby girl much more pleasant.

I would very much recommend this to my friends as it's worth every penny!
