So. You asked us what we thought....

Well, you see, we kept getting these emails from people wanting to know which of our suppliers we would personally recommend for this and that; which pushchair we use ourselves, which toys really keep the cherubs amused. We were also getting companies knocking on our door, asking if we could showcase a product for them.

Well, there was no way we would blindly recommend something just because it *looked* good or the PR spiel was cleverly worded. We decided, quite firmly, that if we were going to do this, we are going to do it properly and only review something if we've had real experience of it ourselves, within our families.

So waa-a-a-ay back in the Spring of 2007 we said yes to Quinny and they placed a Buzz in our hot little hands. Shortly afterwards, a small-but-perfectly-formed company called Dribbly-Dudes asked if we would be interested in trying out their bandana bibs.

(*Actually, those two companies put together really represent what we are all about - big brands right there alongside the tiny little independent boutiques*)

Right from the very start we had very firm review rules. Any product we reviewed HAD to be used. Properly. And that meant in our own family situations, lived with, driven with, dribbled on or wee-ed in - whatever it took to make sure it did what it said it would.

That way we not only admired it from afar, we got to know all about its good bits, its bad bits, its quirky bits and its inadvertant hey-its-fab-at-that-too bits.

Now we obviously can't review every single item we get sent ourselves, so we do have a crack team of Mums who are happy to put stuff through its paces on our behalf.

Our reviews are never paid for - that way, we can always be honest (and we are ALWAYS honest). How else have we gained such a tremendous reputation for trustworthy reliable opinions?

Sadly, you're unlikely to see a bad review on here though. Much as we'd have fun writing them, if we can't say something nice about a product, we'll go back to our supplier and tell them so. Oddly enough, they always choose to not have the review published at all!
