I spy with my little eye this Christmas #ChristmasGiftGuide

I loved playing I spy when I was a kid, in fact I still enjoy the odd game even now. I have played it with all my children and I am sure I will one day play it with my grandchildren, although not quite yet thank you very much, ahem!

But do you remember those faboulous i-Spy books, the spot just about anything books? Those fab books that took long boring car journeys from the yawningly mundane to the positively fun adventures of being first to find what was on that page! Oh yes from i-spying different road signs, to types of vehicles, animals, landmarks and on and on and on. How many books did you have in your collection, I know I had quite a few.

Well the fabulous people at Collins publishing still make these wonderful i-spy books and todays offerings are just as exciting as ever if not even more so. There are litterally so many to choose from, from some of the many classics to new offerings coming out all the time. Some of my favourites are the i-spy Birds, the i-Spy in the countryside (after all its where I live!) and the i-Spy in the night Sky. The latter of course is just perfect at this time of year, especially with all the cold bright weather we have been having as the night sky is dark and crystal clear, perfect for spotting all my i-Spy challenges. Iv’e learnt so much too about stars and constellations it really is a wonderful little book to have and a lot of fun too.

These fantasic little books are the ideal companion you can take pretty much anywhere, they fit neatly into most clothes pockets, a back-pack, suitcase or a car door pocket. And at an average price of around just £3 they are totally affordable for just about everyone. We think they would make the most wonderful stocking filler this Christmas and would entrertain all year round, and don’t forget they are educational too, learning through fun is easy learning and its something the whole family can do together too!

Why not check out Collins new i-Spy guides as well as some of their more well known titles this Christmas, a gift that cost little but gives big!
