Win a £200 luxury Forest Holidays escape

Have you seen Forest Holidays yet? If not, you’re missing out. I *love* them. They have 9 stunning locations spread across the country, all exclusively on Forestry Commission land. Forest Holidays are for everyone, from the very young to the very old; they’re for families and couples and groups of friends and obviously they’re perfect for dogs (owners welcome, natch).

Because you’re deep in forestry land, there’s all the freedom, fresh air and forest you could wish for, and all are yours to enjoy at your own pace; the choice is endless and the choice is yours.

A Forest Holiday is your holiday. If you want to relax, do just that, in the comfort of your luxury cabin, where the hot tub awaits you. maybe enjoy an in-cabin spa treatment, or watch a movie. If your energy is high, the options are limitless; try cycling, canoeing or Forest Ranger adventures. Whatever you do, your woodland surroundings will work their quiet magic on you, making this the most memorable of holidays.

Outdoor adventures, a picnic by the river and ice creams at the seaside. Lazy afternoons with zero plans, family games and exploring new places. On a family Forest Holiday do all this and more. Go pond dipping in Cornwall, try archery in Sherwood Forest or sail out onto a Scottish loch. When the sun sets, fire up the BBQ for a family meal beneath the trees before sinking into the hot tub as the stars come out.

Whether you have little ones who want to splash in puddles and look at the squirrels, older children who want to explore the forest and build dens, or teenagers who want Wi-Fi, pizzas and movies, a Forest Holiday brings everyone together and allows the time and space for simple pleasures. It’s perfect too, for getting the generations together, with luxury self-catering cabins that can sleep up to 10 people.

(if you can’t wait, then don’t forget we currently have an exclusive 10% discount code for all Forest Holidays booked by the end of the year (that’s booked – you don’t have to actually have your holiday between now and December! Just head over to Have Kids, Can Travel to grab the code – http://www.havekidscantravel.co.uk/save-10-forest-holidays-exclusive-forest-holidays-code/ )

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.

  2. We could like to go to a pasture green
And stay in a rural farming scene,
With cow poo galore, and mucky wellies
A BBQ with sausages to fill our bellies.
A forest cabin would be rather nice,
On the exact location, we’d take advice.
As a family of five we need some space
With fairy lights and a hot tub in case
It gets too stressful lounging around,
5 days of tranquility, then homeward bound!!! Fabulous giveaway

  3. It sounds fabulous to be able to stay right in the heart of the forest and yet have the comfort of a cabin and a grocery shop/cafe nearby to enjoy. I would love to go for walks and spot some of the local wildlife including deer and just be able to sit and relax and enjoy the views and have a dip in the hot tub.

  4. it is nice to get right down and into the muck
to sit beside the water and watch the duck
to hide beside the great big tree
so when you are looking you can’t see
then at bedtime when we are all together
wrapped up in our blanket in all sorts of weather
without a care and a nice big cup of tea
I bet you wish you were me
