Three Kitchen gadgets you *need* in your life

We all know that there’s loads of useless gadgets helping you do things that you weren’t tricky until someone told you they had a solution for that problem you weren’t having.
But sometimes one comes along that is an actual little piece of genius.

Here’s my recently discovered top 3 kitchen gadgets that I really love…

pizza-scissors

1 – Pizza Scissors.

Yes – I said pizza scissors. No more rolling back and forth and finding the cheese and pepperoni are wrapping around the wheel instead of staying on their allotted triangles of pizza-heaven.
These scissors not only allow neat cutting of your portions, but they’re also attached to a triangular slice to make serving a breeze.
Brilliant!
Sagaform pizza scissors are just under £12 on Amazon at the moment.

2 – The HeroNeo Cake Slicer

No more arguments over who got the biggest slice – and no more sneaking a slice-and-a-half piece for yourself when no one’s looking. Neat, uniform slices, and the Heroneo even carries it to the plate for you. PLus the lack of blade means that even the smallest child can cut their own birthday cake.

A two-pack of HeroNeo Cake slicers is unbelievably under £1.50. Too cheap to not give it a try, right?

3 – The Cake Lifter.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve constructed a towering sponge cake – on my chopping board or cooling rack. And then I’ve been faced with the precarious job of shifting it to a permanent (ha! like any cake is ‘permanent’ in the house. Transient is more like it) plate.
So I actually ooh-ed when I saw this cake lifter – one of those tools that sits quietly at the back of the cupboard until you need it, and then you bless the day you got it.
The Sweetly Does It stainless steel cake lifter is under £9 on Amazon.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
