Brilliant Kids Room Storage Ideas spotted on Vertbaudet

Loving this simple storage idea I saw on Vertbaudet – you buy the shelves (in either taupe or white, so neutral and easy to fit into any room), and then pick the storage boxes to fit on them.
Brilliant!

I know – they’re plain, simple and a little bland.
But they’re perfect when you can pick and choose your boxes to go on them from this bright and gorgeously styled range…

As well as the funky range of patterned crates, there’s another range of plain wooden crates too…

The shelves are nicely low to make them really practical for smaller-reaching bodies, and the wooden crates measure 18x20x22cm – big enough for decent storage, but not too big too handle when they’re inevitably filled-to-bursting with Important Things. The cut out slots to allow them to be taken down easily by small hands – perfect for ferrying ALL the cars in one go, or making sure ALL the soft toys can attend the tea party. They’d be great for stacking rough paper, in fact for storing all the craft stuff for easy access, a simple storage solution for so many different uses.

Mix and match them, and all of a sudden those plain shelves are the perfect setting for some really funky – and hugely practical – storage crates.
And they look brilliant mixed together, too…

Aren’t they brilliant?
The Low Shelving Unit is just £25, the plain wooden crates are reduced to just £8.50 a set and the Sets of 3 Printed Storage Crates are currently reduced to just over £15 a set, all from Vertbaudet.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
