Our Top Five Easter Eggs – NO.1 Charbonnel et Walker

Sometimes when you’re looking for your Easter eggs you want something a little more than the latest Frozen/Marvel/KitKat offering on the supermarket shelves.

So this week we’ve put together our guide to our Top Five Easter Eggs – we’ve tried them (and will tell you how good they really are), and we’ll let you know where you can get them from.

If you’re looking for an Easter egg that’s just a little bit special, one of your first thoughts must be Charbonnel et Walker, surely?
And this is their most popular egg – with good reason.
Filled with their iconic Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles, tied with an elegant pink satin ribbon (though admittedly the ribbon is a little less magnificent on the small 185g version we were sent than the large one on the website)… it’s just shouts glorious decadence, doesn’t it?

Classic, stylish… and oh my goodness the chocolate inside is go-o-o-od…

I can’t think of a nicer gift for your Mum at Easter – this goes way beyond Happy-Easter-have-a-chocolate-egg, and hits the “here’s a box of something properly delicious because I want to spoil you” level.

The Milk Chocolate Easter Egg Filled With Pink Marc De Champagne Truffles can be bought direct from Charbonnel et Walker, and start at £18 for the 180g version.

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
