George at ASDA Ladies Sportswear – It’s properly good!

Following on from our recent Top 5 Fitness Tips from an (ex) Couch Potato, George at ASDA thought I might like to try out some of the sportswear in their amazing value range.
So they sent me some.
And I tried it on.
And I loved it!

Honestly, it’s properly great.

I’ve tried a variety of items:

This Sports Top is a fab stretchy fabric which is perfect for any activity – I love it for cycling in cold weather, it keeps my arms nice and warm in a biting wind. It’s a snug fit, but the stretch means it’s not restrictive at all – and like the whole range I LOVE that splash of pink! The quality is great;  at £10 it’s a total steal.

This Long Sleeve Hoody is probably my favourite item in the range – I wear it a lot. It’s great quality, and unbelievably flattering on! Perfect for layering, or slipping over your workout gear for going to and from the gym. And at £8 I may just have to get myself a few of them put by…

Yes, I know, you can’t really see anything but a black shape. But these lounge pants are great – so so comfy! the fabric is thin, and as perfect for yoga as they are for stretching out on the sofa exercising your remote control. They’ve a wide stretchy waistband, slightly gathered top and wide gathered cuffs. And another bank-saver at £8, too.

base-layerThis base layer long sleeve t-shirt is brilliant for layering – warm and snug, and such a fabulous colour. Not just for sportswear., either – it’s a really versatile staple for your casual wardrobe, and that eye-popping cerise will cheer the dullest of grey February mornings. Once again, it’s a steal at just £8.

Take a meander over to the ladies sportswear range from George at ASDA – there’s everything from swimsuits to sports bras, and I can honestly say I’m genuinely impressed with the quality you’re getting at this price point. Worth a whole new sports wardrobe, methinks… #AnyExcuse

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
