Edinburgh – it’s a city I always mean to visit.Every year the Edinburgh festival happens, and we swear that next year will be the year.
This year we even made it it to Scotland… but spent a fabulous few weeks all the way up the top and over the other side, and didn’t get a sniff of the sights of the city.
So I was SO excited when Premier Inn got in touch to let us know about a competition they’re running – it’s such a brilliantly useful one too!
It’s all about their ‘Essential Summer Guide to Edinburgh‘, and from show recommendations to shopping and nightlife tips, Premier Inn collaborated with locals to create an ultimate guide to Edinburgh. I’ve been poring all over it and ooh-ed and coo-ed and jotted down copious notes. Seriously – if you’re a bit of a foodie, just a read through the Eating Out page will have you headed for the train station or airport. And I never even realised that Edinburgh has a Botanic Gardens – that’s whisked itself straight into my list of places to visit. Along with the Ghost Bus tour, the castle obviously, Arthur’s Seat… I think I’m going to need more than a weekend actually.
